Telos, an advanced blockchain for smart contracts and decentralized applications, today announced the launch of T-Starter, a platform that allows projects to collect donations and build on top of the Telos blockchain. T-Starter combines cross-chain bridges and a fixed pool swap platform to help blockchain projects raise money more effectively than Ethereum with 10,000 TPS and zero gas fees.
“Projects like Polkastarter show that a decentralized approach to fundraising can surpass older strategies, and now we are bringing that ability to Telos,” said Douglas Horn, Telos’ chief architect. “Telos has always found ways to fund new projects through grants and community-elected proposals for Telos Works. T-Starter offers a powerful new tool that gives projects increased funding and support to move to the next level and add value to the Telos network. “
Increased activity in the DeFi and NFT sectors has driven Ethereum gas prices higher and left transaction backlogs. As a result, building projects on Ethereum and using Ethereum-based services have become prohibitively expensive. Telos solves this problem by offering one of the fastest networks in the world with 10,000 transactions per second (TPS) without gas charges. This makes Telos the perfect candidate to drive further innovations and acceptance in the blockchain sector.
As a full-fledged basic project, Telos did not accept any third-party funding at the start in 2018. Adoption through projects ranging from games to social media to green technology has been entirely organic and was driven by the strength of its features, foundation, and community. T-Starter aims to further fuel this adoption by helping projects collect the resources needed to launch and grow Telos. The platform uses pNetwork to run its cross-chain token swap pools with ETH, pBTC and finally a USD stablecoin.
